Rifle/Pistol Range:

The Silesia rifle/pistol range is located 3 miles east of Silesia, MT on Moser Dome Road (Silesia Road). The rifle/pistol range is unsupervised and access can be gained using the key given to members at sign-up.

Rifle/pistol Range may be closed when muddy. If rainy, Call Kyle Koopman 360-442-8130 or Stu Korth 406-860-5704 before heading out.

The range has 7 covered bench positions with backstops at 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards. There is also an uncovered 25 yd. pistol range available for shooting. The rifle/pistol range has one outhouse and no other facilities. There is no electrical or water available and shooters need to bring their own supplies (i.e. toilet paper, staple guns, targets, etc.).

NEW LONG RANGE FACILITY

We are proud to announce we plan to have our NEW Laurel facility open May 1st. This will open with a long range area 400-1000yds, a mid range area 25-250yds, and a 2 bay pistol range. Weather may push this back a little but fingers crossed it will be ready. It will be conveniently located just North of the Laurel airport with access from the gravel road heading West at the corner of Yard Office and Danford Rd. Unfortunately with the cost increases our new building and trap range will be put on hold until funding is available. We are estimating needing to raise $750,000.00 currently to get this done. We have started applying for grants and seeking funds. We were hoping to build a building first so all the youth events would have a building to continue their programs in but had to change direction. Our hope is once folks get out and see the property and potential the funding will come.

The SILESIA RANGE is planned to continue even after the new range gets done.  We have added some nice pistol targets to shoot at and a spot to shoot shot guns.  There is a patterning area and place to throw your own clay targets.  Just follow the signs to the west of the parking area.
